DO I NEED RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE?
Yes, either you or a partner needs restaurant experience. An experienced and successful multi-unit operators with a track record of building successful teams and operating clean and profitable restaurants.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS?
For each Over Easy restaurant to be developed a prospective franchisee must have at least $200,000 in liquid assets and a net worth of not less than $500,000.
WHAT IS THE INITIAL INVESTMENT?
Estimated initial investment ranges from $296,500 to $814,000 which includes the one-time initial Franchise Fee of $30,000 for the first location and $20,000 for each additional location
WHAT IS THE ROYALTY AND BRANDING FEES?
Royalties are 5% of gross sales and the brand development fund contribution is currently 1%. We also require the franchisee to spend another 2% on local advertising or local co-op if applicable.
WHAT ROLE SHALL A FRANCHISEE PLAY IN THE BUSINESS?
A franchisee must be actively involved as an operator of their Over Easy restaurant(s) either through their own involvement or that of a dedicated operating partner (with equity) who is committed to the full-time management of the Over Easy business.
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF AN AVERAGE OVER EASY?
The size depends on the market and location. The current Over Easy restaurants range from 2,000 to 3,200 sq. ft. The optimal size is 2,500-2,800 sq. ft.
WHAT ARE THE NORMAL HOURS OF OPERATION FOR AN OVER EASY?
One of the best things about our business is the hours of operation. Most Over Easy restaurants are open from 6:30 am to 2 pm Monday thru Sunday. You can work your business and have time to pick your kids up from school.
